Alpha backgrounds in the AMoRE-Pilot experiment

The Advanced Mo-based Rare process Experiment (AMoRE)-Pilot experiment is an initial phase of the AMoRE search for neutrinoless double beta decay $^{100}$Mo, with purpose investigating level and sources backgrounds. Searches generally require ultimately low Surface $\alpha$ decays on crystals themselves or nearby materials can deposit a continuum energies that be as high $Q$-value itself may fall in region interest (ROI). To understand these background events, we studied backgrounds from radioactive contaminations internal to surface Geant4-based Monte Carlo simulations. In this study, report measured energy spectra fitted corresponding simulated six crystal detectors, where contributions could identified through peaks parts spectrum both contaminations. We determine low-energy by extrapolating fitting model.
